LIGHTSTREET

Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of Lightstreet, a native iOS camera app published by Mohamed Ashraf (the "developer"). By downloading or using Lightstreet you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

Subject to these terms, the developer grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use Lightstreet on Apple devices that you own or control.

Use of Lightstreet is also subject to the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA) . Where these terms conflict with the Apple EULA, these terms apply to the extent permitted by Apple.

2. Lightstreet Pro

The free tier of Lightstreet includes the full camera (photo capture and craft tools) and a selection of looks. Lightstreet Pro unlocks the rest of the look catalog.

Lightstreet Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscriptions are managed by RevenueCat on behalf of the developer.

3. Content you create

Photos you create using Lightstreet are yours. The developer claims no rights over them.

You are responsible for any content you share externally, including compliance with local laws regarding photographing people in public spaces and any applicable privacy or image rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Disclaimer of warranties

Lightstreet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. You use the app at your own risk.

The developer is not responsible for loss of photos or data due to device failure, software bugs, or any other cause. Keep independent backups of any photos that matter to you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Lightstreet, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the developer's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Lightstreet Pro in the twelve months preceding the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

7. Privacy

Lightstreet does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information. The app collects a small set of anonymous usage events solely for development and improvement purposes. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the developer's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Lightstreet is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your own country of residence.

9. Changes to these terms

The developer may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
